intacs® Certified Provisional Assessor (Automotive SPICE® 4.0)

Prepares participants for the intacs® Certified Provisional Assessor (Automotive SPICE®) examination, building on knowledge already acquired in the Process Expert training. The focus is what a co-assessor actually does: supporting a Certified Competent Assessor during assessments, in your own company or at a supplier, and turning assessment results into process improvement. Homework assignments are set and presented during the course — active participation throughout is what makes it work.

Practicalities

How certification works

The exam is not ours to award, and the distinction matters — we teach the syllabus and prepare you for an examination administered elsewhere.

The exam is administered by the VDA QMC — for most courses

Not by Envorso. Examination fees are additional to the training price, and the current fees are published by the VDA QMC. Online examinations are run over Zoom, and a working webcam is mandatory. Two courses differ and say so on their own entry: SPICE for Mechanical Engineering is examined by ECQA, and the Automotive SPICE® 4.0 Upgrade has no examination.

Certification is applied for separately

After passing, participants apply to the VDA for certification themselves. That step is independent of the training, and it carries its own fee.

Taught by practising assessors

Every course is delivered by experienced intacs® Certified Principal Assessors with real assessment practice behind them, who are also accredited intacs® instructors. Not by trainers who only teach.

What a place includes

Training documents and a confirmation of participation. Material is in English. For online delivery everything is supplied electronically as PDF.
