The challenge
The Seawolves had a passionate supporter base and almost no direct relationship with it. Seattle has an estimated 250,000–450,000 people the club could realistically reach, but Starfire Stadium holds 4,000. Most fans would never come through the gates in a given season, and the ones who did bought through a ticketing provider that owned the fan data. Every season started over: a fan bought, attended and went home, and nothing carried forward. Loyalty could be felt, but not built on.
What we did
- Replaced six separate vendor systems with Envorso Sports, one platform the club owns.
- One owned channel: the website, mobile app, ticketing and digital wallet all run on a single system, so every sale and interaction happens on the club’s own platform.
- One fan record: every visit, purchase and scan lands in a single fan profile, so what the club knows about a supporter carries from one match and one season to the next.
- Built to compound: the same foundation supports segmentation, targeted offers and personalized engagement, plus the capacity to grow into a 10,000-seat venue.
“For the first time, we actually know our fans. Every ticket, every visit, every purchase comes back to one place we own, and that changes how we plan every season.”
“As an owner, what matters is what we can build on. For the first time, our fan relationships are an asset the club owns, and one that grows in value every season.”

How a rugby club’s app became Envorso Sports
Building a fan app for the Seattle Seawolves solved one club’s problem: a passionate supporter base and no direct digital relationship with it. Then other Major League Rugby teams asked for the same thing — and the honest answer was that building it bespoke each time would not scale.

Unlocking $1.2B in new business
Delivery dates were missed often enough that customer confidence had become a commercial problem rather than an engineering one. Defects were surfacing in late-stage testing, contractual penalties were being paid annually, and the organization was competing for a major new contract it was not, on its record, credible to win.

Powering profits with digital precision
Digital parts content ran on a legacy system that was inefficient, error-prone, and — critically — could not produce an audit trail. That made compliance expensive, scaling impossible, and supplier billing effectively unverifiable.
