This training explains the Machine Learning specific processes in Automotive SPICE® PAM 4.0 and prepares participants for the intacs® certified Automotive SPICE® Machine Learning exam.
Assessors will learn the basics of Machine Learning to enable sound assessments in the future while Machine Learning engineers understand the importance of systematic processes and

how using Automotive SPICE® during process development and monitoring can help their respective company.

Content:

• Optional: Short recap of Automotive SPICE® overall
• Introduction to Machine Learning
• Placement of Machine Learning processes PAM 4.0
• Details of the Machine Learning Processes MLE.1-4 and SUP.11 including VDA Guidelines content
• Overview of other relevant AI and Machine Learning standards and regulations
• Various exercises and quizzes along the way to ensure comprehension and preparedness for the exam

The training is conducted as flexible as possible within the given time and scope constraints in order to respond to the special wishes and requirements of the participants. The instructor keeps the training interesting by presenting lots of practical examples from own experience, as well by conducting a variety of group works.

Target Audience:

• People who plan to perform assessments including the Machine Learning processes of Automotive SPICE® PAM 4.0
• People who are tasked with improving or monitoring development processes including Machine Learning aspects

Preconditions:

• Participants should have several years of professional experience in the automotive industry (e.g. software/system development, project management, quality management, etc.)
• Participants should have visited the training “intacs® certified Process Expert Automotive SPICE®” or be at least “intacs® certified Provisional Assessor”

Certification:

• In the case of examination participation, examination fees are added to the training price.
• The exam is taken by the VDA QMC. The "Zoom" software is used for online examinations. The use of a webcam is mandatory.
• After successful exam, the participant must actively apply to the VDA for certification. This additional step is done by the participant and independent of the training.
• Additional fees apply for the exam and certification as published on the Website of VDA-QMC.

Further information:

• This training is exclusively taught by experienced intacs® Certified Principal Assessors with extensive practical assessment experience. In addition, they are accredited intacs® instructors.
• The training material is available in English.
• Each participant will receive training documents as well as a confirmation of participation.
• When conducted online, all materials are provided electronically in pdf format.
